Love This Day + Colorado Vow Renewal

There are so many reasons to love this day. Tiffany and CR (of the lovely Brinton Studios) renewing their vows so their daughter could be a part – perfection. The Manor House - wonderful. Vera Wang Dress from Anna Be - yes, please. Gorgeous rentals from A Vintage Affair. A lush and lovely table scape focusing on neutral colors and textures (and feathers!) heavenly. Did I mentioned the marshmallow chandelier?? Divine . . .

I was absolutely honored and thrilled to work with Tiffany, CR and Bella to help create this pretty perfect day.

I really think the best part of the entire day was when Bella was finally allowed at the cake. :). There are simply not enough words to express how lovely this re-wedding day really was. Huge huge thank yous and love to Brinton Studios with Two One Photography for capturing this amazing day.

Amy and Dave’s purple Devil’s Thumb Ranch Wedding

It’s pretty clear to anyone who has read any part of this blog that I LOVE weddings. All kinds – big weddings, small weddings, summer weddings, winter weddings. I just love every part of wedding days! But there is something so wonderful and kind and magical for me about weddings with kids. Weddings that are truly about solidifying a new and non-traditional family. Family weddings. So to Amy and Dave (and their pretty wonderful children) congratulations on your family. Thank you for trusting me with the design of this beautiful day. And thank you to Casey from Two One Photography and Devil’s Thumb Ranch!

Warren and Karen were an absolute joy. I loved every part of planning this Colorado destination wedding — There were so many reason to love them – Karen is the Aunt of a former client, they both have absolutely wicked senses of humor and possibly my favorite reason – when Karen and I first started working together – before she sent me a floral picture – she sent me a copy of the ceremony. Honestly, what an incredible honor to get to work with 2 people who remember what a wedding is all about. AND have excellent taste.

Alex and Clark | Wildhorse Inn Wedding

I love yellow and gray. And based on the number of weddings I did this summer with that color palette – that is a good thing. I had a wonderful time working with Alex and her Mom pulling together this wedding at the Wildhorse Inn in August.
